Eleventh . . . meeting new people

Today was the Lord's day, and i was able to go to church at Rehoboth URC. At the church we had soup and buns, it was interesting new people, but i did it and i was proud of myself.

Went back to the dorm and watched some of the Mentalist. Then got my family on skype and talked to them for a while. Excited to see them on Saturday!!!

Then watched; Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Osmosis Jones, and some more which cannot be remembered. Well excited to play Apples to Apples with everyone, hopefully i will study tomorrow and have a good sleep.
Beauty and the Beast: Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme Beauty and the Beast.
Well good night and very much need to study tomorrow!!

Tenth . . . somewhat accomplished

Today was play rehearsal and homework time. That's about all that went down, oh more detail alright then . . . play rehearsal, we practiced the music. We had a song and sang it a number of times, then we broke off into parts and people tried to make/pick up some harmony. Then we sang hummed the song during the speaking parts. I sounded really cool and it helped us be able to see the musicality of the script. Took a break then came back and did some sound affects. Which was fun acting like a complete idiot. Then had a really long lunch break, watch The Corpse Bride and just ate some food. Went back and Aaron said that for my Lily Smalls song just have fun with it experiment and try new things. Just to look up Celtic Ballads but other than that just try. So that will be an interesting experience making up my own music . . .

I continued and just did some homework . . . how i HATE (strongly dislike History), need to study for English and Biology . . . so little time. I miss my family but will be seeing them soon, so that is exciting.

Hopefully all goes well.
Nathan/Jon: It really does sound better on the but.
Hopefully everything can get done, and no more worrying . . . just need to study.

Ninth . . . i feel sick

Today was a day of intense fear, because of my theatre presentation. Anyways, my group was somewhat unprepared and i was a little nervous about talking in front of a lot of people. But i got up there are did my thing, and i was clear, loud and said much stuff. I was proud that i was able to do it. Back to the beginning had religions and english all good, a little long but it's okay. Also have two midterms next week, a little nervous, but if i study it should be fine (i think).

Ummm . . . oh i need to read the play Medea for a theatre quiz on Tuesday. I think i will be able to understand it, if i read it a couple of times.

My friend got the lead in the high school play, so excited for her!!!

Nothing else really, just waiting to go to bed and maybe feel a little better . . . i feel sick to my stomach. Hopefully it passes.
Glinda: You're going to be popular, with an assist from me, you'll be who you be. Instead of being who you are.
Well goodnight, and hopefully tomorrow goes well.

Eighth . . . mmm now what

Hello to all/myself/and to whomever . . . today was a day of normality nothing really different happened, but it wasn't completely boring. Lets start at the beginning, slept in till 9:30 which was AMAZING. Then went to chapel, there were people talking about the Invisible Children. About children who were child soldiers and how they are being rehabilitated. It is so sad knowing that here i am able to live free, and there are children who have had horrors that i hope i will never experience.

Then moved on to Biology, learned about proteins and channels . . . more about the cell. Then i went back to the dorm and i was able to watch some TV shows and study some homework. I got to talk to my friend via facebook, we were able just to get into contact. I miss her a lot, but i will be seeing her soon.

Then moved to History, went through 4 pages of notes really quickly and then watched a movie (which i had already seen).

Communal, chicken, mashed potatoes, broccoli, and some juice. It was good and not a very long line with helped out a lot.

Back to the dorm watch Glee. It was okay Britney Spears episode. Play practice which was so much fun. We had to speak our lines either with the intent of either; God, sex or death. It was interesting seeing whatever everyone else came up with. We then learned some of the music for the play, and it was a really good song.

Anyways, going to probably go to bed after the movie is done (One Night with the King).

Quote . . . mmm.
Britney (from Glee): My name is Britney S Pears . . . I'm always in her shadow, where not doing anything Britney.
Well goodnight hopefully everything goes well tomorrow.

Seventh . . . i got time

SO NOW I'M REALLY ............. AHHHHHH!!!
Okay so my whole blog got deleted so i'm going to try this again (but it won't be as good as the other one, ah technology why do you do this to me????). Back to the subject . . .

So i was/am really proud of myself because i finished History, i studied, wrote down notes and actually understand the chapter. Proud and smiling!!!

Back to my day, my day was good . . . it was average nothing out of the ordinary really happened. I went to class, went back to the dorm. Had a bagel with chocolate spread (yum) and some tea. Watched some Amazing Race, went back to class. Learned about theatre reviewing and the production design process. ummm . . . . back to the dorm, did history, did laundry. Then had dinner, which was so good. Broccoli, chicken and noodles. I had three serving (i was just that hungry). Finished history and now just trying to finish all my other homework.

Brittany and I did a random act of kindness and did another dorms dishes. It's good to help others without expecting anything back . . . Pay it Forward!!!!

Excited about play rehearsal tomorrow, and excited to see my aunt next week wednesday. Thanksgiving coming up soon, and midterms but i won't let that "rain on my parade".

Should end with a quote, so here it is . . . well it's not a quote just a really cute story;
Four years ago, when i was 18, i noticed that at night my front window is very reflective so i was pretending to dive in slow motion and shoot, dual pistol style. Suddenly a really hot girl walked past and i was startled and fell over. Embarrassed i waited for a bit and then stood up. As i stoop up i saw her slowly shooting an imaginary rifle from behind a car. We then proceeded to do this for 10 minutes until she did an extremely dramatic death. She wasn't getting up so i went outside to meet her. Once i got to where she was, there was nothing but a piece of paper with a mobile number on it. Today, we are getting married. MLIA
I will end this little, stupid blog with goodnight and maybe tomorrow more interesting stories (who knows?)

Sixth . . . i think

Today was Sunday, which was the Lord's day, so i went to church. I was really excited because i went with my roommate to the church she was attending. It was a Baptist and it was really interesting. I really like that all the people were so welcoming and friendly, it made me feel like i was wanted.

Had the worship service, talking about how this church was a phase three church. And how we should be helping the spreading of the good news. Met new people and some Redeemer people. Anyways, we tried to get a shuttle back and realized that it left without us, so we started walking back and then the other Redeemer people let us get a ride. It was swishy but it was so much better than walking.

Got back to the dorm and watch "One Night with the King", the story about Esther. We made some chicken noodle soup, and bisquiks (which was amazing).

Then watched some Dancing with the Stars, and Americans Next Top Model. It was nice to get in some TV time. Went to Church in A Box, for my first time. It was AMAZING, i mean i didn't know all the songs, but i learned them on the way. And hearing the story told to us about  the death of his son, really, it made me feel emotional. And i don't know why i was crying but i've just seemed to become more and more emotional now, maybe i'm just letting out my feelings and not keeping them bottled up inside of me anymore.

I was really touched with the songs we where singing. I was glad they did "Our God is an Awesome God" and "Blessed be your Name."
Every blessing you pour out i'll turn back to praise. When the darkness closes in Lord still i will say. Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed by your name, blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be your glorious name.
Thank you Lord, thank you for everything. Thank you that you chose to save me, wretched and sinful as i am. Thank you for loving me and for taking me in. Thank you Lord, THANK YOU LORD.

Fifth . . . are you ready

Continuing in light of this new idea of blogging everyday . . . i will keep making sure i try to record all my findings in my day. Today was Saturday, which meant play rehearsals. I was looking forward to it, and it was SO MUCH FUN. I mean we got to be weird and experiment with our characters and then with vowels. All in all it was amazing and really something that was fun.

Talked with more people, got to know them and also find out more about my characters. Lunch break i got to see my cousin (Karen), Nicholas, and Ashley. It was enjoyable to see them and be able to talk the them. So glad TD is doing "As You Like It" (we told the drama teacher it was the better choice). Had to say goodbye but it was okay.

Finished up play, just did some rough blocking. Then went back to the dorm and started watching "Enchanted". Then Ashley came and we were able to hang out. It was nice to see a familiar face, and someone that knows me. We ate some food, talked more and then the dorm was invited to watch a movie at another dorm. We went over and watched the "Phantom of the Opera". And did some more talking.

Came back to the dorm, did some history reading and now planning to go to the bed (i think). Well goodnight and i will leave you with this quote.
Giselle: How do you know she loves you? How do you know she's yours?

Fourth day . . . yes the fourth

This is the fourth message, blog thing i have and will be writing. Anyways, today was good. It wasn't epic but it did have it's moments.

Started off the day with toast and apricot jam (so good, thank you my dear amazing aunt). Then moved to biology class, had to quickly get the questions done, and then presented. Then was the start of my weekend. It was me and my roommates turn to cook. We decided to make chicken stir fry and amazingly it turned out good and wasn't to hard to make. It was very enjoyable. We also had time to play some dutch blitz, which was very fun.

Went to dorm 24 and watched "She's the Man".
Viola: Speaking clearly as a third party outsider with no emotional connections to the matter.
Now just writing and waiting for my mom to skype me.

Schools good, starting to get a little bit more confusing but still trying to understand everything.
I have play rehearsal tomorrow so looking forward to that. And possibly seeing my two cousins and a friend. Excited and happy, but still sad and feeling alone. Hopefully these feelings can just leave me alone and i can just be myself.

Anyways, probably do some homework . . . now i guess.
Hopefully tomorrow will bring out a bit more, and not so much aloneness.

Third one . . . I think I've gotten the hang of this

Welcome, welcome to another blog message thing of Miley. Well classes today were averagely well. My religions class was cancelled, so sleeping in fun stuff. Then came English which was the same old, same old. Had an amazing lunch, leftovers from Swiss Chalet . . . so good. Then came theatre, hopefully our group can come together and have an amazing presentation on THURSDAY . . . seems like there is no more time (oh well).

Got to watch Glee, on a more positive note. So good and very enjoyable. Looking forward to watching The Big Bang and How I Met Your Mother, too.
Thomas Hardy: Had chosen thus to fling his soul, upon the growing gloom.
Just a random, quote thing from my extensive amount of homework.

I guess I should end this blog, goodnight, goodnight, have a goodnight and hopefully an awesome day tomorrow!!

Second . . . maybe better or maybe worse

Today was a joyous day, I was able to see my amazing aunt, who I love so much. But I am skipping and jumping a lot of points that happened in my day.

Woke up and then had a very interesting discussion with the roommates. Went to Biology class learn about the cell. Made a group, in that we need to; talk, research about the smooth endoplasmtic reticulum in the cell.

Then got to go out for lunch with my aunt. Enjoyed talking about everything and lunch was so good (quarter chicken with fries . . . mmmm so good). My aunt also brought me some more food (so I can survive university life).

Clean my room, which no is now orderly and organized (so proud of myself).

Moved then to History class . . . not my favourite (learned all of it about a million times over). Communal (which was too busy, hamburgers, salad, and floats).

And now waiting for 7 to come around so play rehearsal can begin.

Just excited for it and for devos tonight. Well hopefully everything goes well.

Here's a quote that I have been thinking about all day (just keeps coming back).

Sheldon: Ah, gravity. Thou art a heartless bitch.

First One . . . Lets see how it goes

Okay so this is the first blog I will be posting.

Not to sure what to begin with so I'm going "to begin at the beginning" (haha schoolhouse). Well today I had religions, english, and theatre. All classes were good and I seem to be understanding the "stuff".

Got home and decided to watch some youtube videos . . . dinner came around and we had spaghetti (which was so good). Then talked to my dad and brother via skype. Finished my chores (cleaning the windows), and sang to Hawk Nelson with my roommate. Then decided to watch "Jurassic Park" (amazing movie, in my favourites).

Malcolm: God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs.
Sadler: Dinosaurs eat man, women inherits the earth.
So just going to end my blog in saying that I hope to enjoy the rest of my night and have an amazing day tomorrow (seeing my aunt, and play practice).
